With the addition of more RAM, you''ll be able to keep more programs open at once, speed up program launches, and DDR experience fewer system crashes. Plus, it''s a pretty easy upgrade to make, requiring little technical expertise. Click here to find the 100% Compatible RAM for your machine. Why is it important to purchase memory designed and tested for a specific system rather than to use generic memory? While it''s in your best interest to shop around, don''t skimp on quality. Get grade-A memory only. It''s amazing how many program crashes can be attributed to cheap RAM. There are minute timing differences as well as small incompatibilities between systems. This is why all our memory is tested in specific systems to ensure compatibility. We also carry major Ram name brand DDR memory because all memory is not created equal. Some of the well known brands we carry are : Micron, Samsung, Ram Mitsubishi, Hynix, Kingston, Viking and Transcend. DDR what is the difference between RDRAM speed memory? What does the CL stand for on memory chips? CL stands for CAS Latency. When a module is labeled CL2 it means Ram there are only two clock cycles before the module can send the first block of data. CL3 means there are three cycles before the first block of data is sent. Cl2 is considered to be a small percentage faster than CL3 modules. PC100 and PC133 modules are manufactured as both CL2 and CL3. You will need to check with your system''s requirements to see which option is compatible with your system. Does it matter which slots I plug my new module in? In general, you will get the best performance if you put the largest module (in megabytes) in the lowest-numbered slot. For example, if your computer comes with 32MB of removable memory and you want to add 128MB, it would be best to put the 128MB module into slot 0 and the 32MB module into slot 1. My system will not boot after installing your memory? Are you getting an error message on the monitor? If it states a Non-System Disk error occurred, check to make sure DDR that you do not have a non-bootable disk in the floppy drive, or even the CD-ROM drive if your system can boot to the CD drive. FEATURES RAM comes in the form of a chip, and to increase memory, you simply plug additional chips in to slots on your computer''s main board. The capacity of a RAM chip is measured in megabytes, or millions of bytes. Most systems now come with 48MB of RAM and up. You should have at least 32MB of RAM for running Windows, Ram but with the ever-growing demand for memory, 64 MB or higher is ideal. BUYING TIPS Before buying additional memory for your computer, consult the DDR hardware manual that came with your computer. The manual will tell you what kind of memory is required for your system. It is also important to check the number of RAM Ram slots in your computer, as there is a limited number on the main board for installing memory DDR (anywhere from two to eight). You can only install as many memory modules as you have slots, so plan ahead. If you want to add or upgrade to 128MB of RAM, for instance, get a single 128MB RAM chip, not two 64MB modules. This will save you one RAM slot for future expansion Ram. Would you like to find ddr, simm or dimm memory but aren't sure where to look? Search no further.
